The American Standard Allegiance 18 & 16 can provide you with greater, more even comfort than most single-compressor systems. Employing dual and two-step compressors, respectively, each runs at an energy-saving capacity most of the time. As well as energy efficiency, running at lower speeds longer removes more unwanted moisture from the air making you feel cooler and more comfortable.
On extremely hot days, these compressors shift stages; they step up to a heightened level of cooling to ensure you stay comfortable.
Enjoy a comfortable climate faster with Comfort-R. When you match an American Standard Allegiance 18 or 16 with a variable speed indoor unit, you can add a special feature called Comfort-R. Set by our experienced installer, Comfort-R ramps up airflow so it cools faster. What’s more, this managed cycle of cooling reduces temperature variances and increases dehumidification.
Ultimate: American Standard Allegiance 18
• Ends temperature swings and provides super-quiet, efficient operation for long-term energy savings.
